What We Believe

The Bible

We believe that the whole canon of the Bible is infallible and divinely inspired by God. The Bible is the final and supreme authority in matters of faith and practice. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the believer may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Heb 1:1-2; Psalm 19:7-11)

The Holy Trinity

We believe in one true God, eternally self-existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:26; Matt 28:19; John 10:30)

The Lordship of Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and His incarnation – the virgin birth, sinless life, and miracles. We believe in the atoning death through the blood He shed, His bodily resurrection, and ascension to the Father’s right hand. (John 1:14; Matt 1:23; 1 Peter 2:24)

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit. He exalts Christ, convicts people of their sins bringing them to repentance, enlightens, and equips followers of Christ and the local church for worship, evangelism, and service through the Holy scriptures. (Acts 1:8, John 14:26; John 16:8; Titus 3:5)

The Original Sin and Salvation

We believe that man was created in the image of God. He became alienated from God after the fall of Adam and Eve. We believe that God offered His son as a sacrifice for the substitutional atonement of man’s sins. Salvation cannot be earned by good works. It is received by grace through faith alone. (Gen 3:22; Psalm 51:5; John 3:16)

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that Christ will return to this world in person, bodily, and visibly. To complete God’s eternal plan. He will judge the living and the dead. Granting eternal life in heaven to the saved and eternal damnation in hell to the lost. (1 Thess 4:16-17; Rev 1:7; Matt 24:44)
